Files are blocked based on file extensions (.exe, .com, .pif) and on file types, so even if the files are renamed, our servers detect the file type. However, files in archives (zip, bzip, etc...) are not subject to this check, so any legitimate file you may need to send can be compressed into zip format (Typically, in Microsoft Windows, you right-click on the file(s) and select "Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder").
